1Co 16:2
Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

Q - Does this verse prove that the early church held services on Sunday instead of Sabbath?
A - "No, even today church services are held all throughout the week but primary services are conducted on Sunday for most Protestant denominations and Saturday for Sabbath keepers. The early Christians primary day of worship was the Seventh Day Sabbath. (Acts 13:42) And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. (Acts 18:4) And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. "
