1Jo 3:6
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Q - Does this verse mean that if we sin after becoming Christians we lose our salvation?
A - No, John is referring to sin in a broader sense. He is not talking about isolated incidents when we occasionally sin in moments of leakness. He speaking of habitual sin that we continue doing on a regular basis. (Rom 2:7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: (Rom 2:8) But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
