Exo 7:3
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

Q - Why did God harden Pharaoh's so that he would not free the Israelites.
A - "This is a figure of speech. God did not override Pharaoh's freewill. (Jas 1:13) Let no one say when he is tempted, ""I am being tempted by God,"" for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. (2Th 2:11) Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, (2Th 2:12) in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
